This information graphic is about the Airplane Craches between 2000 and 2009. The data is extracted from an excel file. It is about plane accidents, both that caused the death of some of its passengers as they hurt the people of the ground.
The infographic shows the number of deaths and its relation with the number of passengers of the airplanes by year. Thus, in 2001 we can see that there is more people death than passengers; that is because of the terrorist attack of the twin towels. It is represented by a sequence with bubble charts in order to be able to compare the size of the cercles. Furthemore, the information graphic shows de number of planes crashes by year in a bart chart style, so the audience can appreciate the differences between different years. The main information in the infographic is the map, which represents a gradient of the number of airplane crashes by country (just the zones where we have data).
It is shown in orange tones, because is the opposite colour of the blue of the sea in the map. The black on the background help us to discriminate the important information.
Oh! I love your blog because is really visual, the colors are prefectly combined and is very attractive. It's very curios the way you have represented the number of deaths and passengers. It makes me think of the sun and the sky, and as the topic of the infographic are planes I think is a really good choice :)
