ANALISYS 1 (source: H&R Block)

This information graphic is about fifty years of James Bond on the big screen: the actors who have played him, the movies that have been most successful at the box office and other things to highlight in his films.

It's an infographic that shows information in a rather graphically way, in the sense that it explains everything through draws and very visual symbols, except for some data that are represented abstractly.
There are many decorative elements: the most noteworthy is the great Bond figure that dominates almost the whole image. The draws are also another cause, but they also have their own function.
The information graphic is not showing too much information and represents it in a clear way. We cannot appreciate an information overload, although the infographic displays different graphics.
It is quite unidirectional in the sense that it shows very different information about the same subject, although some of them can be easily relate.
The infographic presents information in a way that is quite familiar to us (bar chart, draws, symbols,...), but the main information is displayed in an original way (with a dartboard).
The information is redundant in some aspects, as it shows the picture and name of what it represents, so it repeats inputs.

In short, we can say that this information graphic is simple and rather superficial: it deals with a single topic, but provides interesting data not too much deeper. This could be interesting for people who like the film but is not a fan of Bond, because as we stated above the infographic shows the basic aspects of the movie that are not very profound: it is perfectly used in order to get an idea of who is James Bond.

This is the tension wheel which is used to analyze information graphics. The important thing is to relate the points until you create an area. Then, this area is used to achieve a prompted conclusion:
